Explore and study art from a historical, cultural and social context. Students benefit from training in a range of media and techniques that can be used in the creation of visual art and graphic design in addition to choosing between a concentration in Studio Art or Art History.

Arts Management and Community Development Certificate
Arts Management and Community Development Certificate

Format: On Campus

Gain the foundational skills needed to build a successful career as a professional artist or to pursue a career in a variety of arts and community organizations. The certificate has two options: Arts Management, which emphasizes coursework in Business and Communication, and Community Development, which focuses on courses in Communication and Urban Studies. The certificate program consists of 15 credit hours in addition to nine credit hours of prerequisite courses.

Asian Studies Minor
Asian Studies Minor

Format: On Campus

Heighten your awareness of the rich and diverse histories and cultures of Asia, expand your cross-cultural opportunities and cultivate an enriched appreciation of Asian arts and literature. The minor consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours.
